The Cognac ''Mémorial'' from Maison Audry is a blend of Petite and Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie aged between 40 and 45 years. After a long ageing process, starting with new casks to pRéserver develop the natural aromatic potential of the eaux-de-vie, and continuing with old casks in damp cellars, "Mémorial" takes on a magnificent amber color. On the nose, the bouquet is sumptuous, revealing a full, complex aromatic palette. The first notes reveal green pepper and fresh apple, followed by spices, tobacco, roasted coffee and cocoa and, of course, the rancio characteristic of Très vieux Cognacs. On the palate, the attack is rich and velvety, with subtle nuances of anise, violet, flamed pineapple and licorice. The finish is long and satiny, with hints of honey. This elegant Cognac is perfectly balanced, with a long finish. Its aromatic complexity and perfect balance are sure to win you over.
