Paul Bara Annonciade 2009 - Champagne

Description

A selection of the finest grapes from the Bouzy terroir has resulted in this refined cuvée made from 70% Pinots Noirs and 30% Chardonnay.  First vinified in oak barrels at Domaine, an exceptional 14-year ageing period was necessary for the elaboration of this cuvée. The wines have not undergone malolactic fermentation, allowing them to retain their natural freshness while preserving their aromas. Particular attention was paid to each stage of vinification.  After a rigorous tasting of each barrel, the best wines were blended to give birth to Cuvée Annonciade.
