Description
Château de Montifaud Héritage Louis Vallet L50 has been naturally reduced to 50%, then diluted for 2 years to 40%. The very old eaux-de-vie dating for the oldest from 1935, come from one and the same cru; Petite Champagne. This Cognac has reached its fullness with its beautiful copper color. On the nose appear aromas of nuts, cigar box and spicy notes. The palate is very delicate, round and complex with that inevitable exceptional "rancio" typical of Très vieux Cognacs. Its length on the palate is worthy of the best Cognacs. The use of old casks for maturation has prevented any excess tannin, despite its long ageing. To open this bottle is to taste the history of the Vallet family through the generations.
