Description
One of the finest signatures in Pessac-Léognan. A great Graves-Pessac-Léognan born under excellent weather conditions. La robe is dark purple with some black jade highlights. On the nose and palate, a very rich aromatic palette ranging from small black fruits such as blackberry, blackcurrant and Basque black cherry to small red fruits (raspberry and wild strawberry). The second attack features floral notes, spices such as white pepper, aniseed, licorice and star anise, with a mineral finish. Round and silky on the palate, with fine touches of well-chiselled tannins, a favorable condition for long ageing. This is a great wine for laying down for several decades, whose qualities will continue to develop, with a probable peak in 2030. It's also a wine to be enjoyed immediately, so great are its qualities. Bottles should be kept lying down, away from light and noise, with a humidity level of around 70%. Decant at least six hours in advance at room temperature to allow the wine to develop its layers of flavors and aromas.
