Bache-Gabrielsen XO Premium - Cognac XO

Description

This is a Cognac made from the 3 best vintages in the Cognac region: Grande Champagne 1er cru, Petite Champagne 2ème cru and Fin Bois 4ème cru. This is a Cognac blend, the youngest of which is 10 years old and the oldest of which has aged 30 years in Limousin oak barrels. La robe is St Domingue mahogany, the palate, like the nose, expresses fragrances of Provence jasmine, iris and white flowers between lime and pear with a slight hint of violet, while the flavors are fruit Secs (fig, Ente plum, dried Crete apricot, dried prune)  roasted hazelnut and almond with an extended vanilla mocha finish.
