Description

5th Classified Growth in 1855 Adorned with an elegant ruby color with dark red highlights, the wine opens with a powerful initial nose of fresh strawberries, raspberries and redcurrants. Hints of vanilla, mocha and smoke arrive in Second plan, adding depth to this delicate blend. On the palate, the wine is both powerful and full-bodied, with firm but well-integrated tannins. A lovely woodiness supports the greediness of the fruit. A subtle tension is felt from mid-palate to the finish giving a sensation of freshness that lingers for long Second.
