Veuve Clicquot Vintage 2015 Rosé - Champagne Rosé

Description

Veuve-Clicquot's 67th edition since 1810, this blend with fruity and floral notes is composed of 10% red wine, made in oak foudres. Prolonged aging on lees gives it the aromatic richness so characteristic of the Veuve Clicquot Vintage style.  Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé 2015 blends floral notes such as jasmine, orange blossom and lime blossom with citrus aromas such as yuzu, yellow lemon and mandarin. It also reveals hints of orchard fruit, berries and spices (clove, saffron and vanilla). Finally, it is characterized by woody notes and aromas of brioche, puff pastry, green tea and mushrooms.  This Champagne Rosé can equally well accompany exotic cuisine such as a citrus chicken émincé, a monkfish tajine or a dessert such as a fig crumble.
